To adjust the idle on a Quick Fuel carburetor, first ensure the engine is fully warmed up. Then, locate the idle mixture screws, usually found on the sides of the metering block, and adjust them equally by turning them clockwise to lean the mixture or counterclockwise to richen it until you achieve the desired idle speed and smoothness. Finally, use a tachometer to fine-tune the idle speed xxxx to the recommended RPM for your specific engine setup.
