A one-way remote starter allows the user to send a command from the remote to the vehicle to start it, but it does not provide any feedback to confirm that the command was received or executed. In contrast, a two-way remote starter not only sends the start command but also receives confirmation back from the vehicle, providing feedback such as whether the engine has successfully started. This feedback can come in the form of visual, auditory, or vibration alerts on the remote.
