To wire a dual 2-ohm subwoofer to a 1-ohm load, connect the positive terminal of one voice coil to the positive terminal of the other voice coil, and do the same for the negative terminals. Then, connect the amplifier's positive output to the combined positive terminals and the amplifier's negative output to the combined negative terminals. This parallel wiring configuration reduces the total impedance to 1 ohm.
